NICE QS Implementation
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) published quality standard 70 in September 2014. It explains the suggested method of assessment and management of nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) in children and young people aged 18 years or younger.
This quality standard was introduced to help improve the quality of life and psychological wellbeing of children, young people and their families and carers. The quality standard stems from the NICE Guidance for Nocturnal Enuresis which was published in October 2010.
CCG Commissioning Tool Kit
NICE states that “Children and young people who are bedwetting have a comprehensive initial assessment” but in order to do a complete bladder and bowel assessment, the healthcare organisation must be fully integrated.
In order to support full service integration, Ferring and PromoCon created the CCG Commissioning Tool Kit. This is a handy pack, containing all the information that a commissioner might need when amalgamating all bladder and bowel services.
There are 6 documents in the Tool Kit:
These documents have been made available to be downloaded as a PDF. Should you require further copies, please contact Ferring Pharmaceutics at email@example.com
